Are you looking for creative ways to keep busy during summer holidays? Discover the museum in a day and try your artistic skills during two interactive, full-day workshops. Join us for a drawing and painting or a poetry and creative writing full-day workshop. You will receive an Arts Award at the end of the session! These workshops are family-friendly, educational and we guarantee lots of fun.
Arts Award: Chagall – Colour and shapes Tuesday, 9 August, 11am-3pm
Join us for a full day of creative activities at the museum, where we will be exploring colours and shapes through the work of Jewish artist Marc Chagall. The session will include lots of hands on activities such as making collage or using pastels and paints. We will also explore Chagall’s wonderful paintings, and the inspiration and mystery behind them.
Arts Award: Poems & Rhymes Tuesday, 16 August, 11am-3pm
Do you like telling stories? Are you a good rhymer? Try your creative skills during our summer workshop, where we will be playing with words and rhymes and exploring the works of Jewish poets and writers, like Michael Rosen. By the end of the day you will have written your own poem about an object or person in our museum collection.
