See our new exhibition and enjoy creative activities

The photograph shows two children wandering through a museum room. The children are moving so they appear blurry on the photograph. On their left there is a glass cabinet with metal tools and other exhibits. On their right there are black and white photographs of people attached to a wooden wall. There is also a white panel with text. The child on the left is a girl with black hair. She is taller and she is wearing blue jeans and a colourful t-shirt. Next to her is a shorter boy with black hair, red t-shirt with black and white stripes and beige shorts.

PROGRAMME

Join us in our Learning Studio for a hands-on creative activity inspired by the remarkable documents of the Cairo Genizah - the archive where the writings of Maimonides were preserved for centuries. Explore how history was recorded by making your own paper and stain your handwritten creations with tea and coffee to produce authentic-looking facsimiles.
