Join us on the first and last Sunday of every month for some hands-on crafting and baking fun!
During each “Make It” session, you will have the opportunity to try a different food, music or craft-based activity, inspired by the museum’s collection. Roll up your sleeves and relax your mind as we bake, write, paint and get creative together!
In this session we’ll be making sweet, crunchy Kichels! Kichels are Jewish sugary cookies, often found in the shape of a bow tie. They can be filled with dry fruit or cinnamon. Kichels can be popular around Rosh Hashanah. They taste great with a cup of coffee or sweet dip.
Join us to knead, shape and sugar coat your kichels and add the finishing touches by creating a beautiful biscuit box to take them home in.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
These workshops are open to all age groups. All children must be supervised by an adult. We welcome all, individuals, families and friends.
All sessions are drop-in, so you are welcome to pop along whenever suits you.
Attendance is included in general admission, so you will also get a chance to explore the museum and café. Families can also try out one of our family backpacks!
