Join us for an interactive family-friendly workshop to hear stories and create your own paper lantern!

Travel through the museum on a storytelling journey inspired by our collection. After the final chapter, it’s time to get creative! Using willow stalks and colourful tissue paper, you’ll craft your very own story-lantern. You can decorate it however you like and take it home to proudly share with loved ones!

Robin Simpson has been telling stories for over 15 years, delighting children and families across the UK with his lively and imaginative performances. This summer holiday, he’s bringing his storytelling magic to Manchester Jewish Museum for a special hands-on workshop inspired by stories from our collection.
