Cheetham's Hidden Histories

Meet at Manchester Jewish Museum

£6 full price, £5 concessions

Cheetham Hill, Manchester’s historic Jewish quarter, is a labyrinth of stories. Stories of hardship and poverty silver-lined with those of heroes and success against the odds.

But the stories we will share with you on this walking tour experience are more everyday, and also more wonderful. They exist within and alongside these hardships, sometimes despite them. These are stories of love and delight.

Come with theatre makers The Bare Project on an immersive audio journey that will connect you with the history of Manchester’s most diverse neighbourhood through new perspectives, and explore how these stories from the past can help us cultivate more love and delight in our own lives and our communities.

Join us as we walk in the footsteps of the remarkable, (extra) ordinary people that once lived in these streets.
