The Great and the Grand
March 9 @ 5:30 am - 6:30 pm
A sharing of a new musical theatre work in tribute to the sacrifices, support and adventures of our grandparents. What can we learn about ourselves from them, from tall tales to words of wisdom? Come along and celebrate grandparents everywhere.
This show has been created by Miriam Sherwood and Dynamite Island, with members of the public. It features stories of grandparents from the museum’s oral history collection and the personal stories of grandparents from our participants.
The show is free and will start at 5.30pm. The Family History Archive will also give advice on researching your grandparents from 4.30pm in the Performance Space. Come along to start finding out more about your family.
