We are so excited to share that we will be offering two brand new workshops developed for primary school classes when Manchester Jewish Museum reopens in spring 2021.
One workshop is a broad introduction to Judaism, exploring traditions, the Synagogue, the Torah, and much more. This workshop is suitable for all levels of knowledge, and will be based around the theme of a Bar Mitzvah.
The second workshop is one exploring the link between festivals, food, and culture. This will provide an in depth look at Jewish festivals, and the foods that are commonly eaten during them. Your class will get to taste some different festival foods, and get to bake their very own challah breads!
These workshops will be launching in the springtime. If you are interested in these workshops, or interested in being a part of the development process, then please register your interest.
