Would you like to become a Museum Foodie? Our Foodies Group meet regularly to talk, cook and eat food inspired by stories from our collection.
This month we’ll be talking about rice – from Jewish Sephardi dishes, risotto, pilau or sticky rice. Everyone is encouraged to come along, make friends and share their favourite rice dishes. We’ll also hear some stories from our collection to do with…what else…Rice!
We will be joined by theatre chef Leo Burtin and producer Laura Seddon, who will give you an appetizer for our ongoing Eat the Archives project and a preview of our February trailblazer. Find out how we will be turning stories into dishes and the different ways you can take part in the development of our theatrical dining experience like no other.
Eat the Archives is part of the Trailblazers Season in the lead up to the launch of the new museum in 2021.
If you enjoy stories as a side order to you dinner, this is the group for you. (Anyone welcome, no cooking experience needed!)
