Cheetham Cultural Festival is a celebration of Cheetham Hill, one of the UK’s most diverse neighbourhoods.
Every September the people, communities and neighbourhoods of Cheetham Hill get t0gether to throw open our doors to provide free food, music and activities for Cheetham Hill residents. From the Football Museum to Abraham Moss Library there are venues to visit all across Cheetham Hill – there’s even an organised bus tour on the Sunday! Head down to the opening ceremony on Thu 23 September at St. Chad’s Primary School or join us for the closing ceremony at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre.
This year’s theme, inspired by St Chad’s Primary School is ‘Love One Another’. Read the full festival programme below or visit their website.
We will be hosting our own Museum Open Day on Sunday 26 September as part of the festival and to celebrate the Jewish Festival of Sukkot. Advance tickets may have sold out but you can still drop in between 12pm and 4pm – and it’s free entry!
Did you know that M8 residents can get free admission to the museum all year round? Join our free M8 Membership scheme to sign up!
