Its time to get baking! Join us for holiday Summer Bake Off sessions and get creative in our Learning Studio kitchen.
Our baking workshops are open to children and adults alike to try out baking traditional Jewish breads and sweet treats. Discover the history behind these traditional recipes and more about the museum’s collection. Bring a friend or your family and enjoy baking together. No experience necessary – perfect for baking beginners. You even get to take home what you bake!
In this session we will be baking Rugelach, a delicious crescent-shaped pastry. Originating from the Eastern European Jewish communities, Rugelach is now very popular in Israel’s bakeries and cafes. The filling is sweet, usually made from fruit, nut or chocolate and the freshly baked Rugelach smell so lovely, they will tempt you to eat the entire batch!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our baking workshops are designed for ages 5+ but all ages are welcome. All children should be supervised.
Materials and ingredients will be provided. We use Kosher approved ingredients but the food is not Beth Din supervised. If you have any allergies please email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
Places are limited so tickets should be booked in advance so we can safely manage capacity.
