Its time to get baking! Join us for holiday Summer Bake Off sessions and get creative in our Learning Studio kitchen.

Our baking workshops are open to children and adults alike to try out baking traditional Jewish breads and sweet treats including challah bread, rugelach and ginger cake. Discover the history behind these traditional recipes and more about the museum’s collection. Bring a friend or your family and enjoy baking together.

No experience necessary – perfect for baking beginners. You even get to take home what you bake!

During this session we will be baking a sweet and delicious ginger cake, which is traditionally baked by Ashkenazi Jews for Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year).
