Its time to get baking! Join us for holiday Summer Bake Off sessions and get creative in our Learning Studio kitchen.

Our baking workshops are open to children and adults alike to try out baking traditional Jewish breads and sweet treats. Discover the history behind these traditional recipes and more about the museum’s collection. Bring a friend or your family and enjoy baking together. No experience necessary – perfect for baking beginners. You even get to take home what you bake!

In this session we will be baking challah, a soft, slightly sweet Jewish bread. Challah is traditionally eaten every week for the Sabbath and major Jewish holidays. It is a delicious and easy to make treat, which tastes best when shared with friends or family.
