Our Jewish New Year Bake off is now fully booked.

Prepare for the Jewish New Year with our Rosh Hashanah bake-off special – apple cupcakes (with a dash of honey!)

Our baking workshops are open to children and adults alike to try out baking traditional Jewish breads and sweet treats. For Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) it is traditional to dip apples in honey to symbolise hope for the ‘sweetness’ of the new year. Our Apple & Honey cupcakes are a playful nod to this tradition.

Discover the history behind these traditions as you get hands-on in our brand new learning kitchen. Bring a friend or your family and enjoy baking together.

No experience necessary – perfect for baking beginners. You even get to take home what you bake! (or you can buy your own treats from our café).

Rosh Hashanah runs from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 September this year. Our museum will be closed on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 September.
