We are resuming our Creative Activists project and are looking for enthusiastic, creative people, aged 16-30 to join us and work with us towards a special event for Holocaust Memorial Day 2023. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, work with professional mentors and learn new skills, whilst exploring lesser-heard stories from the museum collection.
In this session, we will be looking over the creative work, designs, and performances you have created so far for Holocaust Memorial Day and exploring the audience’s journey through the event. There will be a chance to talk through the ideas for the performance and setting and the exhibition planned for the weekend.
What you need to know
This session is part of our regular creative meetings, during which we are working with spoken word, textiles, music and performance to uncover hidden stories and explore how Holocaust continues to affect people to this day.
The meetings are informal, with tea, coffee and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Don’t worry if you’ve missed the previous sessions. You can still join us and be a part of our final event in January 2023!
