Are you looking for a fun way to spend your summer holidays in Manchester? Do you like drawing and painting?

Join us for a full day of creative activities at the museum, where we will be exploring colours and shapes through the work of Jewish artist Marc Chagall. The session will include lots of hands on activities such as making collage or using pastels and paints. We will also explore Chagall’s wonderful paintings, and the inspiration and mystery behind them.

You will be given a creative logbook, which you can fill during the session and take home at the end of the day. You will also get an Arts Award certificate from the museum, which we will send to you after the session.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

This session is aimed at children aged 7 to 13, but anyone aged 7 to 16 is welcome. All children must be supervised by an adult. The tickets for accompanying adults are free.

There will be kids lunch boxes available for purchase at the museum cafe. They cost £4 and include half a bagel with cream cheese, a piece of fruit, a carton of juice as well as colouring sheets and pens.

Please remember that if you’re a resident of the M8 postcode area you can register as an M8 Member and get a free ticket to this event.

We also offer a discount for all MJM Members, so if you’ve got an active membership please log in and choose the MJM Member ticket option when booking in.
