Manchester Jewish Museum Joins in the Cheetham Festival!

September 13^th  2009  Open  10.30- 5.00  FREE

This is the sixth year that the many ethnic and religious communities of Cheetham Hill celebrate  their similarities and learn from each other’s traditions. At the Museum we offer:

Kosher Food Free and available from Midday. Story telling for children at midday and at 4.00 pm A performance by acclaimed klezmer band “Klatsh” between 1.00-2.00 PM and 3.00-4.00 PM

As a part of the Cheetham Festival there will be a Heritage trail on Sunday 13th September, beginning from Victoria Station  (meeting under the map) and ending at Manchester Jewish Museum. It begins at midday and arrives at the Museum at 2.00 pm and is being led by Bill Williams and Merton
