This year you are invited to discover the warmth of Jewish "Celebrations and Traditions" which is the theme of the Open Day

At 2.00 pm Bill Williams, a founder and life President of the Museum will talk about the formation of Manchester Jewish Museum

There will also be Family Friendly Activities in the afternoon celebrating the upcoming festival of Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year)

Jewish organisations of all types will open their doors to the public to promote the heritage of the Jewish communities everywhere - synagogues, museums, etc

The Manchester Regional Group of the JGSGB  will be holding a workshop and where you will be able to see a display of our resource material and members' research.   There will be internet access to demonstrate genealogical websites etc.
