Sunday 5th April
Manchester Jewish Museum will be holding a ‘Passover Family Fun Day’ where families
will learn about the festival of Passover.
Passover celebrates the great event in Jewish history where God intervened, through Moses,
to lead the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt. We’ll have interactive storytelling with
ping pong balls for hail stones and stickers for boils to name just a few. There will also be a
treasure hunt (with prizes), giving children an insight into one of the sections of the seder,
the Passover meal. There will be craft activities, including making a seder plate. Visitors can
even try some of the special foods that are eaten during this festival!
For this day only entry to the museum is free for the whole family,
between 1.00pm and 4.00pm. Activities aimed at children 5+.
