Now is the time to think about Passover, the celebration of the Exodus from Egypt. The Museum is holding a demonstration of the Passover Seder, the service that takes place in the Jewish home on the first two nights of the festival. Children, teachers and the general public will have the chance to experience the atmosphere and the taste of a real Seder, sampling the wine and special symbolic foods that are eaten – charoset, maror (bitter herbs), matzo (unleavened bread). all at 1.00 pm.
There is also one for adults on Tuesday April 5th at 1.00 pm.
