David Rendel, a psychiatrist, meets Shlomo Weider, a Holocaust Survivor, at a Holocaust Memorial Day event at the Holocaust Centre in 2003.  David's father, also a Survivor, died many years before and never told his story to anyone in his family.  The two men strike up a conversation and Shlomo mentions that he was, of course, with David's father throughout the war and knew him well. DOORS OPEN 6:30 PM Funky drummers and a 6 piece horn section are coming to MJM to celebrate a century of Bollywood. The Bollywood Brass Band will be playing live music in sync with video projections from the earliest Bollywood (1913) footage to present-day blockbusters - all inside Manchester's oldest synagogue. 'When Saira met Sarah' is a literature event, with readings from an e- book of short stories and poetry by Muslim and Jewish women. These are competition winners, mostly without previous published writing. The works are sad, emotional and humorous.
