MORE ABOUT OUR COMEDIANS….

 Gareth Berliner

Jewish Comedian, Actor and Writer Gareth Berliner has been performing Stand-up in the UK and internationally professionally for over 8 years.

He regularly performs doing sets or being the MC at Comedy Clubs, Theatres and Venues across the UK.
Josh Howie

Josh is a much in-demand stand-up comic, performing regularly at all the major comedy clubs around the UK, and over the previous few years has taken his distinctive brand of humor to India, Ireland, UAE, France, China, Thailand, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia and America. In 2012, he was also invited to perform at the prestigious Just for Laugh’s comedy festival in Montreal, where he filmed for the internationally distributed Just For Laugh’s All Access TV show.

In addition, he’s written and performed three solo shows for the Edinburgh Festival, before sell-out runs at the Soho Theatre. These include his hugely successful debut solo Fringe stand-up show, entitled Chosen, which played to sell out audiences and received rave reviews at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival, and his August 2010 show Josh Howie: Gran Slam, based on his time living with his grandmother. In 2011, Josh returned with I am a Dick.

Josh has recorded for two series of the Comedy Central show Comedy Store, and appeared on World Stands Up and Comedy Blue for the same channel. He spent four years as the writer/presenter of The Movie Geek, the Sky Movies show offering all the latest news in the world of cinema. Often praised for his writing talent, Josh is a regular contributor to The Guardian, The Times, and The Daily Mail, has reviewed films for Sky Movies Magazine, and writes the ‘Fears of a Clown’ column for blokely.com.

Bennet Arron

Bennett Arron is an award-winning writer, actor, author and stand-up comedian and is the only Jewish/Welsh comedian on the Comedy Circuit.

As well as being a keynote speaker on the subject of Identity Theft http://www.bennettarron.co.uk/documentary.html Bennett has performed as a Comedian, After Dinner Speaker and Awards Host at hundreds of corporate events both in the UK and around the world.   TESTIMONIALS “It seems to me that the art of the compere is a dying art. Too many performers “turn their hands” to it as if it were a simple matter. However, in practice the need for sharp awareness of the potential for dead spots, to play off situations with a constant stream of ad libs and to control an audience without presenting “the set” is no mean feat and one that, as a booker, I can say is in short supply. However, in Bennett Arron we have not only a gifted comedian, but also a man who appreciates just what it takes to compere a trade awards show, such as the Fraud Awards, and have the audience loving every single minute. Outstanding!” Mark Emmott, Director, Retail Knowledge (Media) Ltd
