As part of The Cheetham Festival 2015, MJM is hosting ‘Cheetham Hill In Focus’, a photography exhibition exploring a previously unseen collection of black and white images of Cheetham Hill from the 1950s and 1960s. The exhibition is part of the ‘Salford and Cheetham Hill In Focus’ project by The Streets Museum, which show iconic photographs of the 1950s and 1960s.
On Sunday 13th September, from 12pm to 2pm we invite adults and children for a free drop in activity. Help us to re-trace Jewish family surnames and their origins in our free mapping workshop. There will also be an art activity for children exploring images in the collection.
Entrance to the museum is free all day from 10am to 4pm.
