Build our ‘Story Sukkah’

7th September 2016 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

To encourage people to get together and share stories with each other we want to provide a great, atmospheric space for them to do that so we have decided to build a “Story Sukkah” and we need your help. Our sukkah will be built by local artist and willow weaver Cherry Chung and we would like to invite you to come along and get stuck in to this fun creative process. You will learn fantastic new skills, meet new people, have a really good laugh and there will be kosher snacks and light refreshments.

The work takes place outdoors so come dressed for the weather. The building will take place from 10am – 4pm on Monday 5th and Wednesday 7th September and sessions are drop-in, so you can stay for as long or short a time as you like. Once built, our fantastic new structure will stay in place so that we can use it to celebrate the festival of Sukkot in October.

You can find more info about sukkahs here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukkah and see some of Cherry’s amazing designs here: http://cherrychung.com/?page_id=83.
