Every day museum volunteers offer the following guided tours:
Jewish Manchester in 1912: Sweat Shops, Charity and the Titanic – Discover what life was like for 5 Jewish people living in Manchester in 1912. Museum volunteers will use the Museum’s displays, exhibits and collection to tell these fascinating and previously unheard stories.
Every day from Sun- Thurs (11am, 1pm and 3pm) and every Friday at 11am*
Faith and the Synagogue – Explore the oldest synagogue building in Manchester through the life of a Jewish man called Chaim Besso. Let Mr Besso’s story lead you around the synagogue and you will discover more about kosher food, festivals and the synagogue itself.
